22nd Annual Cesar E. Chavez March for Justice

All Union Brothers and Sisters are invited and encouraged to attend to fly the CWA banner in our community. We will be meeting at the hall and carpooling from there to the start of the march. Please arrive at the hall between 8AM and 9AM to carpool. If you are running late you can meet up with us at the 1301 Guadalupe St., the march starts at 10AM.

“¡Sí se puede!” or “Yes it can be done!” These are the words that union leader, organizer, and president of the United Farm Workers used to say. He is one of the most well-known civil rights activists. He is known for his intelligence and nonviolent tactics. He organized farm-workers to improve their working conditions, their lives, their health care, and to procure better wages. Please join us in celebrating the life and vision of this amazing man. And remember his important words, “Being of service is not enough. You must become a servant of the people.”
